If you were the one walking on the street for a cup of coffee and were suddenly invited by the flashy cameras, how would you feel? Now imagine thousands and millions of people attacking one innocent soul on social media just because they are famous.

They connect over their shared interests in literature and art, though Aster believes she is communicating with Paul. I knew about the leak of her nudes, I knew about all the hate she received because of her famous boyfriend and I knew how much she has struggled ever since her teenage years. this one is incredibly vulnerable (check your TWs) and i commend MB’s bravery in touching on all these topics and her own experiences, especially as a public figure. It felt like the same 5 topics were the only things touched on for the entire book and I ended up losing interest halfway through. Now everyone fears getting hurt but I fear in a way that when I walk down the stairs I walk slowly and look at every step to make sure I don't fall. We're about the same age (she's younger than me by around 4 months) and I found myself relating a lot to what she went through, and this made me reflect on my life as well, so it's possible the book achieved a part of what it set out to do. It's an important read for younger readers, fans of Madison or not, because it tackles some hard topics that are still as relevant today as they were back then. By purchasing the item from Charlies Chapters Ltd you agree that you are happy to receive a revised edition.

It's Madison Beer's journal with a few "Ask Amy" style sections and a handful of journal prompts for the reader. I've listened only to her two albums, but from her lyrics alone, you can tell she's had a rough time in life. whilst this certainly wasn’t anything profound (i’ve read everything she wrote somewhere else before) i still recognise the value of this book, particularly for young readers, in acknowledging contemporary issues with social media, revealing the reality behind a seemingly ‘perfect life.Every chapter is so far detached from the actual events of her life, as if the reader should be able to picture everything that happened to her, as if I should already know what she's talking about and just listen to her thoughts about it. Rolling Stone praised the direction, stating that "the gentle touch Wu uses as a filmmaker, which only occasionally drifts into tidiness, does not dull the edges of her quietly revolutionary achievement in telling the story of a young lesbian immigrant’s journey to self-acceptance. It hurt to read about her experiences and know that she was being treated terribly by almost everyone around her during all of them. In a short video clip shared on social media, she's seen writing on a whiteboard which has the title of all the songs written out, with letters missing. I laughed, I cried, and felt honoured that she chose to share such a vulnerable aspect of her life with the world.

I liked the writing, hopefully this isn't the last we've seen of Madison Beer's book writing journey. My heart breaks for what Madison has been through and i feel like a lot of people - especially women - will relate to the dark parts she decided to share in this memoir.GLAAD Unveils Nominees For 32nd Annual GLAAD Media Awards; Deadline's New Hollywood Podcast Honored With Special Recognition Award". she said in a video that she reads a lot of self-help and mental health non fiction, which is quite obvious from the writing style / some of the advice given, but if that works for her, then good for her. It stars Leah Lewis, Daniel Diemer, and Alexxis Lemire, with Enrique Murciano, Wolfgang Novogratz, Catherine Curtin, Becky Ann Baker, and Collin Chou in supporting roles.
