Fonseca 20 Year Old Tawny is a testament to the art of aging and the refinement of a fine Tawny Port. Beira Interior is a rather disparate region covering a vast swathe of inland Portugal south of the Douro and east of Dão. Best served around 18 degrees (Chill in the fridge for a few minutes), its lovely to pair with dark bitter chocolate, or with a mature Gouda. Quinta do Ataíde is also the site of a new winery, which is designed to reduce its impact on the environment. Lying across the mouth of theTagus river, the Península de Setúbal is a flat, sandy region with the exception of the Serra da Arrábida a short chain of mountains with clay and limestone soils. Along with the most popular varieties, there are regional specialties, such as Hondarrabi Zuri in the Basque Country, Marmajuelo in the Canary Islands and Zalema in Andalucia.
