The Spirit of Masham distillery is owned by Cork and Cases and located on a small business park just outside Masham. It is open to the public so visitors can learn about the gin-making process and see the copper alembic still, which is used to create their “Spirit of Masham Gin”. A versatile tonic that gives a hit of lime followed by lemon from the citrus extracts producing a perfect mixer for a premium Yorkshire gin or vodka. This is a refreshing tonic that leaves a slight tang on the tongue when served simply with ice and a slice.

Whittaker’s Gin is produced by the family-run, Harrogate Distillery, on Harewell House Farm in Nidderdale. The artisian, small-batch gin uses naturally-sourced water from their own land, along with local Hawthorne Berries and Bog Myrtle. Cooper King Distillery, near York, unite state-of-the-art vacuum distillation with the traditional copper pot method to produce a gin which has “incredible savoury lemongrass flavours, a silky mouthfeel and delicate floral notes.”

For every bottle of gin they sell, 1 square metre of native English woodland is planted through their Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust partnership. That alone is a great reason to buy a bottle of their Gin (as if the beautiful bottle isn’t reason enough!) and they recommend that you try it neat before adding your mixers!

This super partnership of Mediterranean Strawberry combined with the Middle Eastern Pomegranate produces a tonic that is smooth and fruity with the pomegranate giving added depth of flavour to the strawberry. This is a mixer that can be enjoyed simply with ice and a garnish of fresh strawberries or added to a premium floral or fruit gin. As the name suggests, we have created a premium tonic containing natural extracts of Quassia and Sicilian lemon to satisfy any premium gin drinker. Recommended serving suggestions: Serve with Raisthorpe’s Rhubarb Gin to accentuate the sharp and sweet hit from the rhubarb with the refreshing bubbles of the tonic. Each Yorkshire Tonic is made at Raisthorpe distillery on the Yorkshire Wolds by blending local water with a range of citrus and fruit botanicals. Using mineral water from the ancient springs beneath their land, they now produce two versions of gin in addition to their range of tasty liqueurs. Addingham Fruit Liqueurs is a small family run business, set up by Fiona Mann in Addingham, near Ilkley. Fiona was introduced to Sloe Gin by her late father-in-law and soon realised that you can “add any fruit to any spirit base”.
